Meeting Tsinghua Professor Sai Ma to Discuss Design, AI and Ethics

Just before returning home from a long trip to China, I had the honor of meeting with Prof. Sai Ma, former Dean of the Academy of Arts & Design at @tsinghua_uni and Professor in the Department of Industrial Design.

We had a fantastic, deep dive into the intersection of Design, AI, and Ethics. I was thrilled to deliver several copies of my book for the academy's faculty, and we are already looking forward to future collaborations on joint research, lectures, and workshops. A huge thank you to the @worlddesignorg, as both the Academy and @symbioticdesignacademy are WDO members, they played a vital role in making this encounter possible.

Afterward, alongside Judy Hao, who brilliantly translated for us, we had the privilege of visiting a master-level enamel jewelry and art exhibition by Associate Prof. Miao Pan from the Department of Arts & Crafts. She was incredibly gracious, guiding us through the exposition and sharing her design methodology and the philosophy behind her stunning work.
