Humberto Maturana, co-creator of autopoiesis theory, dies

Today Humberto Maturana passed away. He was together with Francisco Varela the creators of the autopoietic theory wich revolutionized biology in the early 70's. Their work had an enormous impact beyond its initial intention, echoing in fields as varied as cybernetics and the social sciences. Finally, the work that these two giants carried out ended up entering my own work and they are the source of my doctoral research, wich I will be defending onJune 28th. I am grateful to the Universe for being able to meet these thinker's work and for having the opportunity to expand design's theory based on their work. Thanks Humberto and have a nice journey.
